How participants join

People join at join.answerama.com from a QR code or a short code. No app and no account.

Participants do not install an app and do not create an Answerama account. They join at join.answerama.com.

1. On the host screen, show the QR code or the session code.
2. People either scan the QR code, or open join.answerama.com, enter the code, and choose Join.
3. They can add a display name if the session asks for one, then answer in the browser.

The join box ignores spaces and treats the code as uppercase.

The host creates the join code by launching the session. People can join after that launch. See Present, moderate, and end a session.

Async sessions are included on Single User and Team. They keep a persistent code and QR for digital signs and websites, with a live tally, so people can join without a live launch. A Free account can use async during its one free trial of Single User features.

Everyone can still join. On Free, the host is warned past 50 players. Answers past 50 on a question stay saved and can be locked after the session. See Plans and free limits.
