Plans and free limits
Free, Single User, and Team prices, and what the 50-response and 3-project limits actually do.
Customer-facing plans are Free, Single User, and Team. In the product they are stored as free, pro, and business.
Quiz and Q&A are included on Free.
Free — $0
50 responses per question, and 3 active question sets.
Everyone can still join. Past 50 players the host is warned. That is a soft cap: joining is not blocked.
Answers past 50 on a question stay saved and show as locked. They are deleted 30 days after the session ends unless you upgrade.
Export is available on Free. A Free export includes the first 50 responses from each session. Upgrade to export everything.
A Free account gets one trial of all Single User features, including async. See Free trial.
Single User — $11.99/mo or $107.88/yr
250 participants per session. No cap on question sets or stored answers.
Team — $39.99/mo or $359.88/yr
500 participants per session. No cap on question sets or stored answers.
Yearly billing is 25% less than twelve monthly payments. Single User yearly is shown as $8.99/mo ($107.88 billed yearly). Team yearly is shown as $29.99/mo ($359.88 billed yearly).
Async sessions
Async sessions are included on Single User and Team. They keep a persistent code and QR for digital signs and websites, and they show a live tally. People can join without a live launch. A Free account can use them during its one trial of Single User features.
Free trial
A Free account gets one trial of all Single User features, including async. No card is required. The trial is 7 days by default, and it can be set to 30 days.
Start it from Settings, a locked feature panel, or the pricing or sign-up button. During the trial the account shows how many days are left and a Subscribe button. When it ends, the account returns to Free rules. Nothing is deleted at the end. One trial per account.
Details are in Free trial.
What the caps do
We do not stop people from joining, and we do not reject an answer during the session. There is no overage fee.
On Free, each question includes 50 responses. Answers past that stay saved and show as locked. On a session that ran on Free, that locked overflow is deleted 30 days after the session ends (ended_at, or the answer time if the session never recorded an end) while you are still on Free. Upgrading before then keeps them. Sessions that ran on Single User or Team are kept after a downgrade. Sessions with no stored plan are kept. Rows you can still see are kept.
Past 50 players on Free, the host is warned. Everyone can still join.
Single User includes the first 250 participants in a session, by the time of their first answer. Team includes the first 500. A limit of 0 in admin settings means unlimited. The published Single User and Team caps are 250 and 500, not unlimited.
Anything past a paid participant cap stays stored and shows as locked. Upgrading unlocks it from the plan you are on now. It is not frozen to the plan you were on when the answer was written.
Past 500 on Team, the results message tells you to email [email protected] to see the rest. There is still no overage charge.
