Run your first live session

Open Present, put the code on screen, and move through the questions.

1. Open the session in the editor.
2. Choose Present. That launches the session, creates the join code, and opens the host view at /live/…/host in its own window. The code works after this launch.
3. Leave that window on the projector or the screen the room can see. Your controls stay in the host view.
4. Ask people to scan the QR code or enter the code at join.answerama.com. Joining is covered in How participants join.
5. Use Next to move to the next question. Use Reveal when you want the room to see the tally.
6. When you are done, choose End session and confirm.

You can return to a session from Sessions. A live one has Present now.

While the session is live, every join and every answer is kept. Plan limits apply when you look at results after the session ends, not by blocking the room. See Plans and free limits.
